Warranty conditions

Rodania offers a 3-year warranty on your Rodania watch from the date of purchase, subject to the conditions outlined below. The Rodania International Warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship that are present at the time of the delivery of the purchased Rodania watch.

During the warranty period, upon presentation of a valid warranty card, you are entitled to free repair of any defects. If your Rodania watch cannot be restored to its normal operating condition, Rodania will replace it with an identical Rodania watch or one with similar characteristics. The warranty for the replacement watch expires 3 years after the date of purchase of the replaced watch.

This warranty does not cover:

- Battery life;

- Normal wear and tear and aging (e.g. scratches to the crystal; changes in the color and/or material of non-metallic bracelets and chains, such as leather, textile, rubber);

- Damage to any part of the watch resulting from improper/abusive use, lack of care, negligence, accidents (knocks, crushing, broken glass, etc.), improper use of the watch or failure to follow the instructions provided by Rodania;

- Indirect or consequential damages of any kind resulting from the use, non-use, defects or lack of precision of the Rodania watch;

- If the Rodania watch has been handled by an unauthorized dealer (e.g., for battery replacement, service, or repair) or has been altered beyond Rodania's control from its original condition.

All other claims against Rodania, e.g., for damages beyond those defined in this warranty, are expressly excluded, except for any mandatory rights that the purchaser may assert against the manufacturer.

Manufacturer's warranty

- is independent of any warranty provided by the seller, for which the seller assumes sole responsibility.

- does not affect the buyer's rights against the seller or any other mandatory rights the buyer may have against the seller.

Rodania's after-sales service ensures the proper maintenance of your Rodania watch. If your watch requires maintenance, take it to an official Rodania dealer; they will be able to service your Rodania watch in accordance with Rodania’s standards.

Replacing the battery

The replacement of the battery must be done by an authorized Rodania dealer. They have the necessary tools and equipment to carry out this work professionally. An exhausted battery should be replaced as soon as possible to prevent the battery from oxidising and to avoidthe risk of leakage, which could damage the movement.

Precautions and preventive measures

Temperature

Do not expose your watch to sudden changes (e.g., exposure to sunlight followed by immersion in cold water) or extreme temperatures (above 60°C or below 0°C).

Magnetic fields

Do not expose your watch to strong magnetic fields such as those produced by loudspeakers, mobile phones, computers, refrigerators or other electromagnetic devices.

Impacts

Prevent thermal or other shocks that could damage your watch. In case of a severe shock, please have your watch checked by an authorized Rodania dealer.
