How to define the right watch size?

We often get people emailing us and asking us what the ideal size is for a watch? Well, this one is personal. The guy who just walked into the bar with the brick on his wrist might look silly, but if he likes it, hey, he likes it. Nothing much we can do about that. Just to show you, it all starts with personal preferences.

Some general rules to take into consideration.

For a man, a thing to keep in mind is that if the circumference of the wrist is 15 to 18 cm, you want to go with a watch that has a case diameter of 38-42 mm in width. If your wrist is bigger than 18 cm, then you could go for cases with a 44 – 46 mm width. Of course these are merely guidelines and personal preference should still be your number one criteria. Just like in fashion, the best way to figure out if a watch is right for you, to see if the proportions are ok, you should just try it on and see how it looks.

A piece of advice from us, in a world where bigger seems better, this should not be the case when it comes to watches. You should go for a sleek and elegant watch. It will make you come across as a man or woman who knows his or her way around.
